Description

Position Summary

The Aircraft Captain and Project Manager is responsible for serving as Pilot in Command on domestic and international corporate flight operations while leading aviation projects that support the continuous improvement of the company global aviation program. This position combines flight operations with project management responsibilities, emphasizing safety, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.


Schedule
• Full-Time.
• Remote eligible.
• Must be able to report to the San Francisco Bay Area within 48 hours of assignment.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command for domestic and international flight operations.
• Operate aircraft in accordance with company standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Plan, manage, and execute global flight operations.
• Participate in aviation risk management and security programs.
• Lead and support aviation projects involving Safety Management Systems (SMS), Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), security, international operations, and aviation technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve aviation operations.
• Promote Crew Resource Management (CRM) and operational excellence.
• Support continuous improvement throughout the aviation department.


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours jet flight time.
• International flight operations experience in the Gulfstream G550 or Gulfstream G650.
• Ability to report to the San Francisco Bay Area within 48 hours of assignment.


Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum three years of corporate Pilot in Command experience.
• Aviation project management experience involving SMS, FOQA, security, international operations, or AI workflow integration.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions in dynamic operational environments.
