Description
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G800 while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. This position is responsible for all aspects of flight preparation and execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Schedule
• On-call schedule.
• Must reside within a two-hour drive of the assigned airport or be willing to relocate.
• Annual ICAO International Procedures Training required.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command for all assigned flights.
• Safely operate the Gulfstream G800 aircraft.
• Review the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Evaluate weather, routing, destination, and alternate airport conditions.
• Ensure all flights comply with company policies, FAA regulations, and operational procedures.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
• Complete all required trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Gulfstream G800 Type Rating or comparable aircraft type rating.
• 3,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Pilot in Command (PIC) Hours.
• 1,500 Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Hours.
• 500 Multi-Engine PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbojet Hours.
• 250 Instrument Hours.
• Ability to complete ICAO International Procedures Training annually.
• Must reside within two hours of the assigned airport or be willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
• Type rated in the Gulfstream G800.
