Position Summary

The Lead Captain serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of assigned flights. This leadership position also oversees crew development, training coordination, and operational standards while providing a high level of service during worldwide private aviation operations.

Schedule
• Full-time.
• Variable schedule based on flight mission requirements.
• Extensive worldwide travel required.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flight missions.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
• File flight plans and evaluate weather, routing, and operational conditions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and operating procedures.
• Mentor and develop crew members and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate crew schedules and training requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
• Conduct required passenger safety briefings.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel regarding aircraft discrepancies.
• Manage trip documentation and maintain required aircraft manuals and records.
• Assist with crew hiring and other flight department administrative responsibilities.
• Maintain professional and discreet service when interacting with passengers, customers, and colleagues.

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum five years of aviation experience.
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Fixed-Wing Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbojet.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbine.
• Minimum 100 hours Night.
• Minimum 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a variable schedule based on mission requirements.
• Ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
