Position Summary

The Gulfstream G600 Lead Pilot in Command serves as the Lead Pilot in Command (PIC) for a dedicated Part 91 flight department, providing leadership for flight operations while ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the aircraft. This position balances active flying responsibilities with flight department administration, crew leadership, client relations, and operational oversight while maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

Schedule
• Full-Time
• Part 91 operation
• Two-pilot crew
• Contract pilots utilized as needed to support schedule

Responsibilities
• Serve as Lead Pilot in Command for Gulfstream G600 operations
• Lead and mentor assigned flight department personnel
• Manage client relationships and maintain exceptional customer service
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance
• Oversee aircraft maintenance events, audits, database updates, and operational checklists
• Review invoices, vendors, charter approvals, crew schedules, and flight department administration
• Ensure crew assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements
• Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance
• Conduct Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefings
• Perform all required aircraft pre-flight inspections
• Monitor fueling, oil, oxygen, and aircraft servicing
• Conduct passenger safety briefings
• Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM)
• Maintain company-required training and operational proficiency
• Ensure crewmembers remain qualified and compliant with company policies
• Participate in the company Safety Management System (SMS)

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Minimum 3,500 Total Flight Hours
• Minimum 2,000 PIC Hours
• Minimum 1,500 Multi-Engine Hours
• Minimum 500 Multi-Engine PIC Hours
• Minimum 500 Jet Hours
• Minimum 300 Instrument Hours
• FAA Type Rating in applicable fleet
• 4–6 years of experience
• Corporate/Business aviation experience
• Ability to perform essential job functions
