Description

Position Summary

The PIC / Lead Commander is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G500 while leading flight operations in accordance with company policies and applicable aviation regulations. This position serves as Pilot in Command, provides leadership to flight crews, and ensures exceptional safety, operational excellence, and customer service throughout every mission.

Responsibilities
• Perform PIC / Lead Commander duties in accordance with the Operations Manual.
• Exercise final authority over all aspects of flight operations.
• Ensure aircraft operations comply with company procedures, SOPs, and applicable aviation regulations.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness and required documentation prior to departure.
• Coordinate with passengers and aircraft owners regarding operational changes or aircraft defects.
• Promote effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) and a professional cockpit environment.
• Verify passenger travel documentation prior to departure.
• Brief passengers on flight time, weather, delays, and operational updates.
• Ensure flight crew professionalism and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Report abnormalities, incidents, and accidents through established reporting channels.
• Promote and support a Just Culture within the flight department.
• Maintain compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.


Requirements
• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Current Gulfstream G500 Type Rating.
• Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours jet flight time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine flight time.
• Corporate/business aviation Gulfstream G500 line training and checking experience.
• Previous corporate/business aviation experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Proactive and flexible approach to operations.


Preferred Qualifications
• Additional language proficiency.
