Description

Position Summary

The Pilot II serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft while supporting corporate flight operations. This position also contributes to the department’s Safety Management System (SMS), mentors fellow crewmembers, and maintains the highest standards of operational excellence and professionalism.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) during company flight operations.
• Conduct trip preparation and safely operate company aircraft.
• Supervise flight crews and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
• Make operational decisions regarding delays, reroutes, and flight cancellations.
• Participate in and support the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Maintain knowledge of company policies, FAA regulations, and aircraft technical data.
• Mentor and train other flight department personnel.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the Chief Pilot.


Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Operational PIC experience in turbine-powered aircraft within business or commercial flight operations.
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours turbine flight time.
• Type rating in at least one company-operated aircraft.
• Successful completion of initial and recurrent aircraft-specific training.
• Ability to complete a 14 CFR §61.58 PIC proficiency check.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
• Extensive multi-crew cockpit experience.
