Description

Position Summary

The Pilot (Pilot in Command) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Socata TBM 700 during Part 91 corporate flight operations. This position ensures compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures while providing safe, reliable transportation for company owners and passengers. The PIC operates in a single-pilot environment and maintains the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and aircraft readiness.


Schedule
• Full-Time
• Primarily scheduled flights with minimal short-notice travel


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) during Part 91 flight operations
• Safely transport passengers and cargo in a single-pilot environment
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and aircraft walkarounds
• Monitor weather and operational conditions, making sound go/no-go and diversion decisions when necessary
• Conduct passenger safety briefings and communicate operational updates
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and company operating procedures
• Complete all required aircraft and flight documentation
• Maintain aircraft proficiency through recurrent training and required company education programs
• Coordinate effectively with management, passengers, and support personnel
• Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) and Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) Ratings
• Instrument Rating
• Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• No FAA certificate actions within the previous five years
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make sound decisions and adapt to changing operational conditions


Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time
• Minimum 500 hours cross-country flight time
• Minimum 100 hours night flight time
• Minimum 75 hours actual or simulated instrument time, including at least 50 hours in actual flight
• Previous Socata TBM 700 experience
• Experience operating turbine, pressurized, and complex aircraft
• Experience flying in cold weather and icing conditions
• Experience with EFIS avionics and King KFC 325 autopilot
