Description

Position Summary

The Adjunct Assistant Professor teaches undergraduate aviation courses within Aviation Administration, Professional Pilot, and Air Traffic Control programs. This position supports student success by delivering high-quality instruction, fostering academic engagement, and preparing students for careers throughout the aviation industry.


Schedule
• Part-Time
• Teaching assignments as available


Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate courses in Aviation Administration, Professional Pilot, and/or Air Traffic Control programs
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction that supports student learning and academic success
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with students and faculty
• Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in academic activities as assigned


Requirements
• Master’s degree in Aviation or a closely related field, or a Master’s degree in another discipline with demonstrated aviation and/or Air Traffic Control education, experience, or scholarship
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Preferred Qualifications
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
• Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) Certificate
• FAA Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate
• FAA Certified Air Traffic Controller (Tower, Center, and/or TRACON)
