Position Summary

The Flight Instructor / Commercial Tour Pilot provides Part 61 and Part 141 flight instruction while conducting scenic aerial tours over New Orleans. This position combines professional flight instruction with commercial sightseeing operations, offering pilots the opportunity to build flight time, mentor aspiring aviators, and deliver memorable experiences to visitors in a dynamic, year-round flying environment.

Schedule
• Full-Time
• Day, evening, and weekend flying as scheduled
• Evening tours available

Responsibilities
• Provide flight instruction in accordance with Part 61 and Part 141 training standards
• Conduct commercial aerial sightseeing tours
• Prepare students for flight lessons and practical tests
• Maintain accurate student training records
• Introduce prospective students to the flight training program and aircraft fleet
• Promote safe flight operations and professionalism
• Maintain aircraft readiness and follow company operating procedures

Requirements
• FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI)
• Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Strong commitment to aviation safety
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Dependable, adaptable, and professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous flight instruction experience
• Customer service experience
• Passion for mentoring student pilots
