Description

Position Summary

The Global 6500 Instructor Pilot (TCE) is responsible for delivering simulator and ground school instruction in accordance with FAA regulations, approved training curricula, and customer requirements. This position serves as a subject matter expert while providing professional pilot training and, based on business needs, may qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.


Schedule
• Full-time
• Domestic and international travel required.
• Travel required during the first six months for initial training.
• Two-year training commitment required.
• Schedule may vary based on operational requirements.


Responsibilities
• Deliver simulator, classroom, and flight instruction.
• Conduct pre- and post-simulator briefings.
• Train pilots for licenses, type ratings, qualifications, and recurrent training.
• Complete training records and required administrative documentation.
• Recommend remedial training when necessary.
• Maintain instructor qualifications and training records.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for curriculum and courseware development.
• Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman when assigned.
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a positive learning environment.


Requirements
• Eligible for an unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC Jet Type Rating.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer proficiency.
• Participation in DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.
• Strong communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate training records.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.


Preferred Qualifications
• Prior Part 142 Training Center Evaluator (TCE) experience.
• CFII Certificate.
• MEI Certificate.
• Business aviation flight experience.
