Position Summary

The BE-400 Instructor Pilot provides simulator, flight, and ground school instruction to develop and evaluate pilot proficiency. This position delivers training using approved curriculum while maintaining regulatory compliance, accurate training documentation, and a professional learning environment.

Schedule
• Full-time
• International travel and extended stays may be required for training programs

Responsibilities
• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in accordance with regulatory standards and approved curriculum
• Serve as a subject matter expert throughout all phases of pilot training
• Provide simulator, flight, and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, certificates, internal training, and pilot qualifications
• Conduct professional pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings
• Complete required training records and administrative documentation
• Provide remedial training recommendations when necessary
• Monitor and maintain instructor qualifications
• Support curriculum and courseware development as a subject matter expert
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with FAA requirements
• Tailor instruction to meet diverse customer training needs
• Maintain a professional and welcoming training environment
• Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5 years based on business needs

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, unrestricted
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC Type Rating
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Flight Time
• 2–5 years of job-relevant experience
• High school diploma or state-issued equivalent
• Authorization to live and work in the United States
• Excellent written and spoken English fluency
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
• Ability to participate in DOT drug and alcohol testing program

Preferred Qualifications
• BE-400 Type Rating
• Existing instructor qualification or type rating
• Previous FAR Part 135 experience
• Previous teaching or training experience
• Previous Part 142 Instructor experience
• Previous Training Center Evaluator experience
• Business aircraft flying experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
