Description

Position Summary

The PC-12 Instructor Pilot provides flight and ground instruction to foreign military pilots operating the Pilatus PC-12. The position involves overseas deployment for up to six months and includes instruction in aircraft systems, flight operations, emergency procedures, turbine aircraft management, and instructor pilot development. The role requires strong instructional skills, professionalism, and the ability to effectively communicate with international customers.


Responsibilities

• Conduct flight training for foreign Air Force pilots in the Pilatus PC-12
• Conduct ground school instruction covering aircraft systems and operations
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections
• Educate students on safety procedures, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Provide instruction on PC-12 systems, performance characteristics, and operations
• Train pilots in single-engine turbine operations
• Provide instruction in turbine engine management
• Conduct cargo handling training
• Instruct pilots on avionics operation and utilization
• Conduct CFI training for selected students
• Conduct CFII training for selected students assigned as Instrument Instructor Pilots


Requirements

• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) Certificate
• Qualified under FAA Part 141 or Part 142
• Minimum 1,000 Hours Flight Time
• Minimum 100 Hours Flight Instruction Given
• Valid FAA Class I or Class II Medical Certificate
• Instrument Rating (IR)
• High Performance Aircraft (HPA) Knowledge
• IR SE(A) or IR ME(A)

OR

• Two Years Prior Experience as a Military Instructor under FAA Part 141 or Part 142

OR

• Former Military Instructor Pilot qualifying under FAA Part 61.73
