Description

Position Summary
The Instructor Pilot delivers simulator and ground school instruction while developing pilot proficiency and confidence across assigned aircraft platforms. This position serves as a subject matter expert, conducts professional simulator briefings, and ensures all training meets FAA regulations, customer expectations, and company standards.


Schedule
• Full-Time
• Eligible to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) after approximately 1.5 years based on business needs


Responsibilities
• Deliver flight simulator and ground school instruction in accordance with regulatory requirements and curriculum
• Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-simulator briefings
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for customer training and course development
• Maintain training records and instructional qualifications
• Recommend remedial training when appropriate
• Provide instruction for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications
• Support curriculum development and training initiatives


Requirements
• Unrestricted FAA ATP Certificate or completion of ATP Written
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Participation in company DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for teaching


Preferred Qualifications
• Unrestricted PIC Type Rating
• FAR Part 135 experience
• Minimum 3,000 Total Flight Hours
• Experience flying business aircraft
• Previous instructional or training experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to tailor training to diverse customer needs
• Strong recordkeeping and organizational skills
