Description

Position Summary
The Second in Command supports customer pilots during simulator training by serving as a qualified SIC in multi-crew aircraft when a training partner is required. The role maintains currency and qualification across assigned programs and supports Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA simulator training without performing instructional duties.

Responsibilities
• Act as Second-in-Command for customer pilots training in multi-crew aircraft without a flying partner
• Serve as a competent SIC during recurrent, initial, and generic training courses
• Maintain SIC pilot qualifications for assigned training programs
• Maintain qualifications in accordance with applicable Quality Management System processes and procedures
• Keep all required certificates, ratings, and designations current
• Act as SIC in various aircraft types for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients
• Interact professionally with customers and adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations


Requirements
• High school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings
• Minimum 450 hours Total Flight Time
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong cockpit communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of simulator operations
• Ability to successfully complete required employment compliance reviews
• Ability to meet applicable ITAR and/or EAR requirements if required for the position
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if required
