Position Summary
The Simulator Second in Command supports customer pilots during multi-crew simulator training when a training partner is required. The role serves as a qualified SIC during recurrent, initial, and other approved training courses without performing instructional duties.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Second in Command for customer pilots training in multi-crew aircraft
• Support recurrent, initial, and generic simulator training courses
• Perform SIC duties without providing flight instruction
• Maintain SIC qualifications for all assigned training programs
• Maintain qualifications in accordance with applicable Quality Management System processes and procedures
• Maintain current certificates, ratings, and designations required for SIC duties
• Serve as SIC for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA customer training as required
• Provide professional cockpit communication and crew coordination
• Adapt to changing training schedules and operational requirements

Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category and class ratings
• FAA Instrument Rating
• Minimum 450 hours Total Flight Time
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• English fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension
• Strong cockpit communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations
• Ability to maintain all required SIC qualifications, certificates, ratings, and designations
• Must meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements when required
• May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
