Description

Position Summary

The King Air B350 / Pilatus PC-24 Captain serves as a single pilot for air medical operations providing emergency patient retrieval and patient transfer services throughout New South Wales and into other Australian states. The position works closely with flight nurses and healthcare professionals to provide safe and reliable aeromedical transportation.


Schedule
• Full-time.
• All shifts commence and finish at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command and operate assigned aircraft in a single-pilot environment.
• Conduct safe and efficient air medical flight operations.
• Support emergency patient retrieval and patient transfer missions.
• Coordinate closely with flight nurses, healthcare professionals, and aviation personnel.
• Maintain required aircraft proficiency, operational currency, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct operations throughout New South Wales and into other Australian states as required.


Requirements
• CASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with all ATPL subjects completed.
• CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC.
• Minimum 100 hours Night PIC.
• Minimum 250 hours Instrument Flight Time, including at least 125 hours in-flight.
• Minimum three Multi-Engine Instrument Rating renewals.
• Ability to obtain/pass a Working with Children Check and ASIC requirements.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment checks, including criminal history and medical checks.


Preferred Qualifications
• King Air B350 or Pilatus PC-24 experience.
• Check and training experience.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Turbine PIC.
