Description

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for conducting medical transport, organ procurement, and critical care missions while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. This position plays a critical role in life-saving operations, supporting patient transport missions throughout Puerto Rico and beyond.


Schedule

• 14 Days On / 14 Days Off


Responsibilities

• Promote positive attitudes toward compliance and safety
• Perform flight planning, aircraft preflight inspections, and aircraft preparation
• Execute flights in accordance with approved flight plans and ATC clearances
• Maintain aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists
• Comply with company SOPs, FAA regulations, and recent flight experience requirements
• Maintain all required licenses and certifications
• Assist with loading and unloading baggage and passenger support as required
• Ensure aircraft cleanliness and appearance
• Coordinate catering and maintain aircraft commissary inventory and supplies
• Attend required ground and simulator training events
• Maintain flight proficiency and operational knowledge
• Search for and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements

• ATP Multi-Engine Land Certificate
• Current First Class Medical Certificate
• Unrestricted Passport
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Minimum 2,500 hours PIC Multi-Engine Jet Time
• Minimum 200 hours Actual Instrument Time
• Minimum 250 hours Night Time
• Minimum two years multi-crew experience
• Must live within 45 minutes of the Puerto Rico hub
