Position Summary

The Aerial Applicator is responsible for safely conducting aerial application operations in support of agricultural customers across the United States. This position performs aerial dispensing missions while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, pesticide application requirements, and company safety standards. Responsibilities
• Conduct aerial application operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Perform thorough site surveys before each dispensing operation to identify hazards and environmental considerations
• Review current and forecast weather conditions before all flights
• Safely load, handle, and dispense agricultural products in accordance with product labeling requirements
• Brief ground crews and support personnel on operational procedures and safety expectations
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding operational issues and aircraft status
• Supervise fueling and transient aircraft servicing when required
• Maintain aircraft proficiency through recurrent training and authorized maintenance test flights
• Complete all required flight, dispensing, and operational records accurately and on time
• Build and maintain customer relationships with agricultural retailers and direct clients

Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate ratings
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• Qualified to serve as Pilot in Command under 14 CFR Part 137 requirements
• Minimum 200 hours of agricultural flight time
• Certified to operate assigned aircraft
• Current Commercial Certified Pesticide Applicator certification in applicable state(s)
• National Aerial Pesticide Applicator Pilot Certification Examination completed
• Strong knowledge of FAA, OSHA, DOT, and applicable state regulations
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
