Description

Position Summary

The Certified Flight Instructor / Private Pilot supports both flight instruction and private business travel operations while providing safe, professional flight services and training students in single-engine and multi-engine aircraft operations.


Schedule

• Hours dependent on flight instruction and private pilot needs


Responsibilities

• Provide private pilot services for business trips
• Operate aircraft safely and professionally in accordance with FARs
• Monitor weather and flight conditions before and during flights
• Provide ground and flight instruction to student pilots
• Teach aviation theory, flight operations, and navigation procedures
• Instruct students in flight planning, safety practices, and regulations
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
• Maintain training records and certifications
• Ensure all operations comply with federal aviation regulations


Requirements

• Private Pilot License (PPL)
• CFII Certification
• FAA Medical Certificate
• 500 Logged Flight Hours minimum
• Experience in VFR and IFR operations
• Single-engine and multi-engine qualifications
• Ability to instruct in both single-engine and multi-engine aircraft
• PIC experience in multiple aircraft types
