Position Summary

Vectored Approach is seeking a Flight Instructor to provide high-quality flight and ground instruction while supporting student development in a professional, safety-focused training environment.

Schedule
Flexible scheduling with steady student flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide flight and ground instruction under Part 61 and Part 141 operations
• Prepare students for solo flight, written exams, check rides, and certification completion
• Maintain accurate student training records
• Deliver instruction for Private, Instrument, and Commercial students
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs
• Report maintenance discrepancies and aircraft concerns
• Participate in instructor meetings and safety briefings

Requirements

• CFI required
• CFII required
• 1,000 total time
• 500 dual given
• FAA Medical Certificate (3rd Class or better)
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and ACS/PTS standards
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 50 PIC in Cirrus aircraft
• Part 141 experience
• Advanced aircraft systems knowledge
