Position Summary

The Flight Instructor serves as the primary instructor at the Spinks location, delivering Part 61 flight instruction while helping grow the local client base. This role combines flight training, customer service, business development, and operational support to provide a premium aviation experience for clients pursuing pilot certificates, ratings, and recurrent training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Part 61 flight instruction in Cirrus aircraft
• Train clients pursuing Private, Instrument, Commercial, transition, recurrent, and proficiency training
• Provide a safe, structured, and professional training experience
• Maintain training records and student progress documentation
• Prepare students for stage checks and checkrides
• Conduct discovery flights and introductory training consultations
• Follow up with prospective and former clients
• Assist in growing the local student base
• Build relationships within the local aviation community
• Coordinate with scheduling, maintenance, operations, and leadership teams
• Maintain a professional office and training environment
• Support aircraft presentation and readiness standards

Requirements

• Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and accountable
• Professional appearance and demeanor
