Position Summary

Dauntless Air is seeking Fire Boss Pilots to conduct aerial firefighting operations, supporting low-level missions in dynamic and demanding environments.

Schedule
Seasonal and mission-based operations depending on fire activity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aerial firefighting and retardant/water drop operations
• Operate aircraft in low-level, high-risk environments
• Support wildfire suppression efforts
• Maintain safe and efficient flight operations
• Comply with FAA Part 137 and company procedures

Requirements

• CPL required
• 1,500 total time
• 1,200 airplane time
• 200 single engine land
• 100 single engine sea or ASES rating
• 100 turboprop time
• 200 low level flight time including 100 Part 137
• 200 mountainous terrain time or equivalent training
• 100 hours in last 12 months
• 10 hours in last 60 days
• Instrument rating required

Preferred Qualifications

• 4,000+ total time
• Prior aerial firefighting experience
• Experience in same make and model
