Description

Position Summary

The First Officer supports worldwide aerial refueling operations aboard Boeing 707/B-720 and/or DC-10 aircraft. This position is designed for experienced multi-engine pilots with applicable type experience who can support demanding flight operations while maintaining required FAA qualifications and security clearance eligibility.


Schedule
• Full-time
• Normal schedule of approximately two weeks on / two weeks off
• Schedule may be flexible
• Holiday stand-down period in late December/early January
• Pilots may live anywhere in the United States, with company-paid time and travel to and from assigned work locations


Responsibilities
• Serve as First Officer during assigned aerial refueling flight operations
• Support the safe and professional operation of assigned aircraft
• Maintain required FAA qualifications, medical certification, and operational currency
• Perform assigned flight crew duties in accordance with established operating procedures
• Maintain readiness for domestic and international flight assignments
• Support safe and effective mission operations as a member of the flight crew


Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• B-707/B-720 and/or DC-10 Type Rating
• Experience in B-707/KC-135 and/or KC-10/DC-10 aircraft
• Minimum 2,000 hours Total Multi-Engine Land Time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Multi-Engine Land PIC Time
• Eligible for Secret-level security clearance with current status within the previous two years
• Current valid passport or other travel documents permitting unrestricted exit from and re-entry into the United States
• Valid driver’s license


Preferred Qualifications
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• 3,000 hours Total Multi-Engine Land Time
• Multi-Engine Land PIC time in type
• Heavy aircraft flight time within the previous 12 months

Compensation
• Up to $24,000 in variable compensation based on work schedules
• Profit sharing and other incentives may be available separately
