About the Company
Guardian Flight, part of Global Medical Response (GMR), provides air medical transportation services focused on emergency response, patient relocation, and safe fixed wing medical operations across the United States.
Position Summary
Guardian Flight is seeking a Fixed Wing Pilot to provide medical air transportation services aboard the Pilatus PC-12 in support of day and night air medical operations.
Schedule
14 Days On / 14 Days Off rotation supporting day, night, and overnight operations.
Responsibilities
• Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and locations
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch in accordance with FARs and company requirements
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and operational readiness
• Maintain accurate documentation, manifests, and company records
• Coordinate with dispatch, medical crews, facilities, and operational partners
• Provide shift turnover information to transitioning crews
• Maintain required certifications and recurrent training
• Support safe and professional flight operations standards
• Assist with towing, hangar movement, and aircraft preparation when required
• Assist with aircraft de-icing when necessary
Requirements
• Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land required
• Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate required
• Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
• Valid and unexpired driver’s license required
• Ideal candidate will have single pilot IFR experience
• Ability to provide logbooks supporting reported flight time required
• 2,500 total flight hours required
• 2,000 fixed wing hours required
• 1,000 PIC hours required
• 500 cross country hours required
• 100 night hours required
• 75 instrument hours required, including 50 actual instrument hours
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous medevac experience preferred
• Previous cargo experience preferred
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or higher preferred
