Description

Position Summary

Seeking a Flight Instructor to deliver professional ground and simulator-based pilot training in accordance with aviation regulations and FlightSafety training standards. This position is responsible for conducting training events, evaluating pilot performance, maintaining instructor qualifications, and supporting customer success in a simulator training environment.


Responsibilities

• Conduct ground and simulator training for pilots enrolled in core, specialty, and enrichment training programs
• Develop and prepare training materials in accordance with approved curricula
• Evaluate trainee performance and recommend qualification or additional training as required
• Maintain accurate training records for each client
• Identify training issues and seek assistance when necessary
• Maintain instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the training process
• Support FlightSafety training standards and instructional excellence


Requirements

• Unrestricted ATP Certificate or ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License
• If ATP is not held, must meet the requirements of 14 CFR 61.153 and 14 CFR 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating
• Ability to participate in FlightSafety’s DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
• Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry practices
• Ability to effectively teach and manage classroom and simulator instruction
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to accept coaching and feedback for professional development


Preferred Qualifications

• 2,500 Total Flight Hours
• Part 121 Experience
• Part 135 Experience
• Military Aviation Training Experience
