Description

Position Summary

The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for conducting safe and efficient helicopter operations supporting utility work, human external cargo (HEC), aerial firefighting, and construction projects. This position requires extensive turbine helicopter experience, long-line proficiency, and a strong commitment to operational safety in demanding mission environments.


Schedule

Responsibilities
• Conduct utility helicopter operations
• Perform Human External Cargo (HEC) missions
• Support aerial firefighting operations
• Conduct construction support flights
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Operate safely in challenging environments
• Participate in required drug and alcohol testing programs


Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate – Rotorcraft or higher
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate or higher
• Minimum 2,500 hours Pilot in Command helicopter time
• Minimum 500 hours turbine helicopter PIC time
• Minimum 100 flight hours within the previous 12 months
• Long-line experience
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screening in accordance with FAR Part 120


Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 100 hours in one or more of the following aircraft:
• Sikorsky UH-60
• Bell UH-1/205/212
• Bell 429
• Bell 407
• MD 500 Series
