Position Summary

The IFR Pilot serves as Pilot in Command in a helicopter air ambulance environment, conducting SPIFR/NVG operations under CAMTS guidelines. This role operates in a 24-hour environment supporting critical patient transport missions.

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (must live within 1 hour of base)


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command on EC135 aircraft
• Conduct SPIFR/NVG helicopter operations
• Ensure safe and efficient patient transport missions
• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties
• Maintain compliance with FAA, CAMTS, and company procedures
• Assist with patient and equipment loading when required
• Support Safety Management System and company initiatives
• Coordinate with medical crews, dispatch, and operations


Requirements

• Commercial Helicopter Certificate
• Instrument Rating
• First Class Medical
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 PIC Helicopter Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Night Hours (or NVG equivalent)
• 75 Instrument Hours
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must meet weight and physical requirements
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and physical exam


Preferred Qualifications

• NVG experience
• Medevac experience
