Description

Position Summary

The Pilot supports offshore oil and gas operations in the Gulf of America as a VFR or IFR Pilot in Command or IFR Second in Command. The position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned helicopters while maintaining regulatory compliance, operational standards, and professional customer service.


Schedule
• Full-time.
• 14 days on / 14 days off.
• Primarily supports Gulf offshore operations.
• Must remain available for dispatch to other locations, including international assignments, based on operational needs.


Responsibilities
• Safely and efficiently operate assigned aircraft in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
• Maintain situational awareness regarding weather, NOTAMs, sea conditions, and offshore facility status.
• Manage passenger and aircraft movements, passenger briefings, and baggage loading.
• Complete flight planning, preflight inspections, fueling, and manifest oversight.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper flight, duty, journey, and aircraft technical records.
• Report aircraft mechanical irregularities and verify aircraft airworthiness.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and operational personnel.
• Remain current with required operational and safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Pilot or Operations Manager.


Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Helicopter and Instrument ratings or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must meet applicable pilot requirements under 14 CFR 135.243.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a large and varied workload.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Must successfully complete the required screening questionnaire.


Preferred Qualifications
• 1,500 hours PIC Helicopter.
• 100 hours Offshore.
• 100 hours flight time within the preceding 12 months.
• One year of experience in offshore oil and gas operations.
