Position Summary
The Pipeline Patrol Pilot is responsible for conducting safe and efficient low-level VFR aerial pipeline patrol operations. This part-time position is ideal for an experienced commercial pilot seeking supplemental flying opportunities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Schedule
• Part-Time
• Approximately one flying day every two weeks (3–5 flight hours)
• Eight-month contract
Responsibilities
• Conduct low-level VFR pipeline patrol operations
• Operate company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain the highest standards of flight safety and professionalism
• Demonstrate strong situational awareness and sound aeronautical decision-making
• Complete assigned patrol missions safely and efficiently
• Support company operational and safety objectives
Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating
• Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine flight time
• Current and proficient in multi-engine aircraft operations
• Immediate availability
• Ability to commit to an eight-month contract
• Strong stick-and-rudder skills
• High level of situational awareness
• Safety-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous commercial pilot experience
• FAA Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) Certificate
• Previous flight instructor experience
