I began my professional career in the film industry as a Set Designer and Art Director, where I spent over seven years leading complex, deadline-driven productions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. With no prior connection to aviation, I made the decision to pursue a career as a professional pilot—a challenge that has become one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In just over two years, I earned my CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates while building a strong foundation in flight instruction and aviation operations. As both a flight instructor and aircraft owner, I have developed a deeper understanding of the industry beyond the cockpit, gaining firsthand experience with aircraft ownership, maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making. This perspective has strengthened my technical knowledge, professionalism, and appreciation for safe, efficient flight operations. I strive to bring calm decision-making, clear communication, and a positive learning environment to every flight while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Highlights

Checkride Pass!
August 12, 2026 One of my proudest moments as an instructor was having three of my Commercial Multi-Engine students all successfully pass their checkrides on August 12, 2026. It was incredibly rewarding to watch each of them grow throughout their training, overcome their individual challenges, and ultimately earn their new ratings. Since then, one of those students has asked me to write a letter of recommendation for a scholarship she is applying for, which has been especially meaningful and reflects the relationships and trust I strive to build with my students beyond the cockpit.
