I am a Commercial Pilot and hold a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating. My intent as a pilot is to enhance safety in aviation and to conduct myself with the utmost professionalism. I am constantly seeking ways to improve and to expand my knowledge of aviation in all of its forms. Currently, I conduct independent flight instruction of students of all experience levels. To date, I have instructed 5 students with 1 of them recently completing her Commercial Pilot certificate.

My previous experience prior to getting into aviation was in the Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance for 10.5 years. I held the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a Dive Team Leader. I planned, prepared and executed safe missions with a 10 man team. The key function of my job was to be accountable for personnel and equipment prior to, during and after the mission. I also worked with U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) while in the Marine Corps. In an advisory capacity I supported the Integrated Survey Program (ISP) which was part of the Counter Terrorism Program for U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Influenced by my time in the Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance, I believe that good pilots and instructors are thoroughly prepared for every scenario, clearly communicate their intentions, recognize and mitigate risk, and remain calm under adverse circumstances. As a Staff Sergeant in Force Reconnaissance, I thoroughly enjoyed teaching and working with others. Today, I am an independent flight instructor and am currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot Technology at Vermont State University, with the anticipated graduation date of December 2026.
