My name is Khaleel Brown originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica migrated to Florida in 2006 and started pursing my aviation dream since 2013. I have served in many roles in aviation from 2020 until now including line service all the way up to management roles and then now as my primary role as flight instructor at a part 141 flight school in Virginia.

My aviation experience has provided me with a strong foundation in aeronautical decision-making, risk management, crew resource management, and regulatory compliance. As a flight instructor, I have developed exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset while training pilots in diverse operational environments. These experiences have strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing conditions, and consistently operate to the highest professional standards.

Highlights

First Emergency @1500 hours
July 15, 2026 Upon completion of preflight and start up everything was normal. We departed KPHF to practice area 3 with intent on working on landings and some maneuvers. Upon completion of a ground reference maneuver, I Khaleel Brown took control of the aircraft to show my student some procedures, when I noticed a drop in RPM and so I advanced the throttle and noticed another drop in RPM then a sudden rise to 2500 RPM. Upon the indication, I subsequently reduced the throttle but there was no change in the RPM. As a result, the aircraft started climbing and we headed back to KPHF.
