I am Mohammad Rafey, a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science with minors in Airline Operations and Global Conflict Studies. Throughout my academic journey, I have maintained a 3.9 GPA while balancing demanding flight training, leadership roles, and a strong commitment to serving the aviation community.

My passion for aviation extends far beyond flying airplanes. I am driven by a desire to develop safer, more efficient, and people-focused aviation operations. As a Standards Ground Instructor at the Aviation Learning Center, I mentor and train aspiring pilots, uphold instructional excellence, and help ensure the highest standards of aviation education. I also actively contribute to student success through the Flight Leadership and Advancement Program (FLAP), where I support and guide fellow students throughout their flight training.

Leadership has been a defining part of my journey. Through my involvement in student organizations and campus initiatives, I have worked to build meaningful connections, foster inclusive communities, and create opportunities for others to succeed. These experiences have strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing my belief that great leaders empower those around them.

My long-term goal is to combine my passion for flying with strategic leadership by building a career that spans both airline operations and aviation management. I aspire not only to serve as an airline pilot but also to contribute to shaping the future of the aviation industry through innovation, operational excellence, and visionary leadership.

Above all, I believe that aviation is about more than transporting people-it is about connecting communities, creating opportunities, and inspiring future generations. Every lesson I teach, every flight I complete, and every leadership role I undertake brings me one step closer to making a lasting impact on the industry I am proud to call my passion.
