Airplanes, airports, and travel were a normal part of growing up in my family. My dad flies for NetJets, my mom and stepmom have worked as flight attendants, my uncle flies for Southwest, and now my sister is in the industry too. Being around aviation from such a young age made becoming a pilot feel like the obvious choice. After a discovery flight at 14, I knew for sure it was what I wanted to do.

Growing up around aviation gave me a glimpse into the industry, but getting involved myself has shown me many different paths people take to build a career. Some pilots spend their careers in corporate aviation, some fly for charter operators, and others head to the airlines. One of my favorite parts of aviation has been meeting people from different backgrounds, hearing their experiences, and learning something new from each conversation.

Outside of aviation, I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree through the University of Central Florida and staying flexible about where this career may lead. Corporate aviation, charter operations, and the airlines all interest me for different reasons. Right now, the goal is simple: keep building experience, keep meeting good people, and keep saying yes to opportunities that help me grow as a pilot.
