Work Experience

Security Operation Manager
Soteria Aviation Services May 18, 2026 - July 31, 2025 As a Security Operations Manager and private contractor, I led VVIP and federal security operations across complex, high-pressure environments — including the emergency evacuation of American personnel from the Middle East and coordination of lawful immigration transport operations. I worked directly with DHS Agent, DOS Diplomatic Security agents, ground teams, and other federal agencies to ensure full personnel and asset accountability, on-time execution, and with zero incidents.
US Army Special Forces (Green Beret)
US Army July 21, 2026 - June 23, 2009 As a U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, I led and trained multinational teams in various operational environments across the world — from combat deployments in Afghanistan and joint training missions across Europe (including Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, and the Balkans), to border security operations along the Texas-Mexico border. Across each theater, I planned and executed high-risk missions, trained partner-nation and allied forces, and maintained full operational and safety accountability for the teams I led. I currently serve part-time as cadre for the Texas Army National Guard, assessing and evaluating soldiers seeking to go to Special Forces selection and assessment.

Highlights

CRM Outside the Cockpit
March 9, 2026 While I haven't yet logged CRM as a professional pilot, I've lived its core principles for over a decade: clear communication under pressure, shared situational awareness, disciplined risk assessment, and trusting your team to speak up when something's wrong. Most recently, as a Security Operations Manager during the emergency evacuation of American personnel from Jerusalem, I managed my team and agent loading baggage, fuel, and catering onto the aircraft while under missile fire. We continued working through the attack, regained full accountability of passengers and crew, and confirmed the aircraft was fully ready so the pilots could focus entirely on a safe departure of the area. That kind of coordination — clear roles, calm communication, and total trust in your team to put out fires as they arise — is CRM in every sense except the logbook entry.
