Western Kentucky-based retired Firefighter-Captain transitioning into a full-time second career in aviation. Owner and operator of a flight school at Barkley Regional Airport, I bring over 1,110 total flight hours, including 115 instrument and 433 cross-country. I hold Commercial Single and Multi-Engine Instrument ratings, CFI-I with Advanced Ground and Instrument Instructor privileges, and 70 hours of turbine time in the PC-12 NGX. I maintain a current Second-Class Medical.

With 21+ years of service at the Paducah Fire Department (2003–2024), I retired as Captain after leading teams in high-pressure emergency situations. As a Technical Rescue Team member, Nationally Registered EMT, Hazardous Materials and Structural Collapse Technician, I was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for rescue efforts following the 2021 EF-5 tornado in Mayfield, along with two EMS Meritorious Service Awards. This background has strengthened my safety-first mindset, leadership, and calm decision-making under stress — skills I now apply daily in the cockpit and as a flight instructor.

Passionate about aviation education, I volunteer with the local EAA Chapter flying Young Eagles and am eager to bring reliability, professionalism, and real-world leadership to my next opportunity in professional flying.
