I am a professional pilot and Managing Flight Instructor with ATP Flight School, where I have developed a strong foundation in leadership, safety, standardization, and aeronautical decision-making. In my current role, I oversee instructors and students while conducting evaluations, spot checks, and mock checkrides to ensure pilots are prepared to meet a high professional standard.

Aviation has taught me the importance of preparation, accountability, adaptability, and always being willing to learn. I take pride in being someone others can rely on, whether I am in the cockpit, working with a student, or leading a team.

I am now looking to take the next step in my aviation career with an organization where I can contribute my experience, work ethic, and safety-focused mindset while continuing to grow as a professional pilot. My long-term goal is to build a career defined by professionalism, strong decision-making, continuous improvement, and being a great crewmember both in and out of the flight deck.

Utility Asset Buyers L.L.C. September 23, 2023 - October 14, 2014 Served as a Field Operations Manager overseeing crews and coordinating field projects involving utility asset recovery, substation demolition, equipment operation, and hazardous material handling. Responsible for maintaining safe and efficient job sites, conducting daily safety briefings, coordinating personnel and equipment, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable OSHA and customer safety requirements. This role required strong leadership, situational awareness, problem-solving, and the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic, safety-sensitive environments. Managing crews, maintaining project timelines, and taking responsibility for safe operations strengthened many of the leadership, communication, risk-management, and decision-making skills that I continue to apply throughout my professional aviation career.
Flight Instructor/ Training Center Standards Instructor
ATP Flight School January 19, 2026 - April 8, 2025 Provided flight and ground instruction to students progressing through ATP’s accelerated Airline Career Pilot Program, with a strong emphasis on safety, standardization, aeronautical decision-making, and developing professional cockpit habits. Instructed students across multiple stages of training while preparing them for evaluations, checkrides, and increasingly complex flight operations. Responsible for monitoring student progress, identifying areas requiring improvement, developing individualized training strategies, and ensuring students consistently met ATP and FAA standards. Maintained a safety-focused and professional training environment while helping students build confidence, proficiency, and sound judgment as pilots. My performance as an instructor and commitment to student development, safety, and standardization led to additional evaluation and leadership responsibilities and ultimately advancement into the Managing Flight Instructor role.
Managing Flight Instructor
ATP Flight School - January 19, 2026 Serve as the Managing Flight Instructor at ATP Flight School’s Houston Ellington training center, providing leadership and oversight for a team of flight instructors and approximately 30 students progressing through an accelerated professional pilot training environment. Responsible for maintaining training quality, safety, and standardization across the center while conducting student evaluations, progress checks, spot checks, and mock checkrides. I work closely with instructors to identify training deficiencies, develop corrective plans, mentor instructor development, and ensure students are properly prepared before advancing to evaluations and FAA practical tests. Additional responsibilities include coordinating checkrides, managing training progression, supporting operational decision-making, and maintaining consistent communication between instructors, students, examiners, and company leadership. Under my leadership, our training center has maintained strong checkride performance, including a 95% pass rate during a quarter in which we sent 38 applicants to practical tests. This position has strengthened my leadership, communication, risk management, and decision-making skills while reinforcing the importance of accountability, professionalism, and maintaining high standards in a safety-critical aviation environment.
