My name is John Sievert and I am writing to express my interest in moving up into a SIC position in a Jet 121,135, or even 91 operation. I have preferences in terms of locations but can be flexible. I am currently a 135 Captain flying the 208B for Corporate Air/ FedEx. I have gained invaluable experience flying single pilot IFR in the caravan and am ready for the next step in my career. My responsibilities include all aspects of safe, legal, and reliable operations from start to finish, rather than having many of my duties as a pilot supported by dispatch, which I am sure is not unlike 135 charter operations. I am also proficient in a wide range of Garmin Avionics and autopilots. I learn quickly and will be transparent and forthcoming about what commitments I am interested in and able to make.
