My aviation journey began in the Army, flying UH-60 Black Hawks on missions that taught me discipline, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure. After completing the Army’s Fixed Wing Course, I added King Air’s to my logbook and now split my time between serving with the Army National Guard and flying Part 135 MEDEVAC missions in the King Air C90.

Every mission, military or civilian, reinforces my passion for aviation and my respect for the responsibility that comes with it. Whether flying single-pilot IFR across the Northwest or coordinating with crews on complex MEDEVAC or aerial fire fighting missions, I’m driven by purpose, precision, and continuous improvement.

In addition to aviation, I’m the author and owner of Huey’s Books LLC, a children’s book series inspired by Army Aviation. Through these stories, I aim to spark curiosity and inspire young readers to learn about aviation, the military, and the helicopters that serve our communities.

Highlights

Huey's Books LLC
October 1, 2021 I created Huey’s Books to share my love of aviation with the next generation—starting with my niece, Eddy. Inspired by by own experiences, I wanted to show young readers how MEDEVAC missions work and how the Army National Guard uses aircraft every day to serve communities here at home. I've currently authored three books in the Huey’s Books series: The Ambulance That Could Fly, The Fire Truck That Could Fly, and The Spy That Could Fly, all designed to inspire curiosity, courage, and a love of flight in young readers.
