Position Summary

The Second-in-Command (SIC) supports flight operations on a Gulfstream GIV based in the New York area (TEB/HPN). This role operates under both Part 91 and Part 135, supporting a dedicated owner program with domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in maintaining aircraft airworthiness
• Review aircraft maintenance status and documentation
• Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with Aircraft Flight Manual
• Review weather, NOTAMs, routing, and alternates
• Support safe and efficient flight operations under company procedures and FAA regulations
• Ensure safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
• Complete flight, trip, and operational documentation

Requirements

• 2500 total time
• 1000 multi-engine time
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 500 hours turbine time
• Previous Part 135 experience
