Position Summary

The Second in Command (SIC) supports flight operations on the King Air 350, assisting the Pilot in Command in the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of flights across both scheduled and on-demand operations.


Responsibilities
  • Assist the PIC during all phases of flight
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
  • Assume responsibility if PIC becomes incapacitated
  • Support customer service aspects of each flight
  • Coordinate passenger logistics (pickup, drop-off, catering, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain flight and duty records
  • Report maintenance discrepancies
  • Participate in safety and quality programs

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1100 hours total time
  • 500 PIC
  • 50 hours multi-engine fixed wing
  • Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land
  • 500 hours cross-country
  • 100 hours night
  • 75 hours instrument (50 actual)
  • Successfully complete FAA Part 135 checks (293, 297, 299)
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance procedures
  • Strong customer service and multitasking ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Pass FAA drug/alcohol screening and background checks
  • Maintain current medical certificate
  • Ability to lift 150 lbs and perform physical duties
  • Ability to complete long duty days (up to 14 hours)
  • Valid U.S. Passport
