Position Summary
The Aviation Maintenance Instructor teaches students aircraft systems, maintenance, and repair through hands-on training, preparing them for careers in aviation maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Create an engaging learning environment for students
- Provide hands-on instruction in aircraft systems and maintenance
- Demonstrate real-world diagnostics and repair techniques
- Support curriculum development and course improvements
- Mentor students and guide individual projects
- Promote safety procedures and best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and teach students
Preferred Qualifications
- FAA A&P License (or ability to obtain, company sponsored)
