Position Summary

The Survey Pilot I plans, prepares, and executes aerial data acquisition missions, ensuring safe flight operations and high-quality imagery and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute aerial photography and data acquisition missions
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Coordinate with ATC and airspace authorities
• Monitor weather and adjust flight plans accordingly
• Maintain flight logs and operational records
• Ensure aircraft safety, fueling, and weight/balance compliance
• Support mission planning and logistics coordination

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Certificate (Instrument, Multi-Engine, High Performance)
• First or Second Class Medical
• 250+ total flight hours (500+ preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to pass DOT drug testing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer use
• Personal credit card for reimbursable travel expenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in aviation or related field
