Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) for the Challenger 3500 is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering a high level of service in a Part 135 environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as PIC and ensure safe operation of all flight activities
- Conduct flight planning, weight and balance, and performance calculations
- Lead crew briefings using TPC methodology
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Complete pre-flight inspections and manage aircraft readiness
- Coordinate aircraft servicing (fuel, oxygen, maintenance)
- Deliver passenger briefings and exceptional customer service
- Utilize CRM and TEM in all phases of flight
- Collaborate with crew and internal teams to ensure service consistency
- Maintain training, recency, and compliance standards
Requirements
- FAA Type Rating (applicable fleet)
- 3,500 total flight hours
- 2,000 PIC hours
- 1,500 multi-engine hours
- 500 PIC multi-engine hours
- 300 instrument hours
- 500 jet hours
- Ability to meet all regulatory and company requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience
- Corporate/business aviation experience
