Position Summary

The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for safe and efficient EMS flight operations, transporting medical crews and patients while ensuring full compliance with FAA and company standards.


Responsibilities
  • Operate aircraft safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
  • Ensure aircraft readiness and airworthiness
  • Transport medical crew and patients safely
  • Maintain documentation and flight records
  • Coordinate with medical teams and operations
  • Participate in company programs and community outreach

Requirements
  • Commercial Rotorcraft + Instrument Rating
  • First or Second Class Medical
  • 2,000 total flight hours
  • 1,500 rotorcraft hours
  • 1,000 PIC rotorcraft hours
  • 500 turbine rotorcraft hours
  • 200 cross-country hours (50 night)
  • 100 night hours (or NVG equivalent)
  • 50 instrument hours

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Recent commercial or military rotorcraft experience
