Position Summary
The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for safe and efficient EMS flight operations, transporting medical crews and patients while ensuring full compliance with FAA and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely and in compliance with regulations
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
- Ensure aircraft readiness and airworthiness
- Transport medical crew and patients safely
- Maintain documentation and flight records
- Coordinate with medical teams and operations
- Participate in company programs and community outreach
Requirements
- Commercial Rotorcraft + Instrument Rating
- First or Second Class Medical
- 2,000 total flight hours
- 1,500 rotorcraft hours
- 1,000 PIC rotorcraft hours
- 500 turbine rotorcraft hours
- 200 cross-country hours (50 night)
- 100 night hours (or NVG equivalent)
- 50 instrument hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Recent commercial or military rotorcraft experience
