Position Summary

The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for safe and efficient EMS operations, ensuring patient transport missions are conducted safely while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and in compliance with regulations
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure readiness
• Maintain documentation and operational records
• Coordinate with medical teams and dispatch
• Perform flight planning under time-sensitive conditions
• Participate in company programs and outreach

Requirements

• Commercial Rotorcraft + Instrument Rating
• First or Second Class Medical
• 2,000 total flight hours
• 1,500 rotorcraft hours
• 1,000 PIC rotorcraft hours
• 500 turbine rotorcraft hours
• 200 cross-country hours (50 night)
• 100 night hours (or NVG equivalent)
• 50 instrument hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Recent rotorcraft experience (within 24 months)

Compensation

• $82,900 – $93,251
• Up to $12,000 experience stipend
