Position Summary
The Praetor Instructor Pilot is responsible for delivering high-quality simulator and ground training, supporting pilot development, and serving as a subject matter expert across assigned aircraft platforms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver simulator and ground training in accordance with regulations and curriculum
- Conduct pre- and post-flight briefings
- Act as subject matter expert for training programs
- Evaluate trainee performance and recommend additional training
- Maintain training records and instructor qualifications
- Support course development and training improvements
- Progress to Training Center Evaluator (TCE) role
Requirements
- ATP Certificate (or ATP written complete)
- Strong communication and instructional ability
- Must participate in DOT Drug & Alcohol program
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- PIC Type Rating
- 3,000+ total flight hours
- Part 135 experience
- Business aviation experience
- Prior instructional experience
