Position Summary
The Flight Instructor / Commercial Tour Pilot is responsible for delivering flight instruction and conducting aerial tours while ensuring safe operations, strong customer experience, and effective training outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Provide flight instruction to students pursuing pilot certification
• Conduct aerial tours over New Orleans
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Prepare students for practical exams and flight proficiency
• Manage training records and scheduling
• Deliver strong customer service to students and tour passengers
• Assist with showcasing aircraft and attracting new students
• Maintain professionalism and safety standards at all times
Requirements
• Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• Strong communication and teaching ability
• Ability to provide safe and engaging flight experiences
• Dependable, adaptable, and customer-focused personality
• Passion for aviation and instruction
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous flight instruction experience
• Tour or Part 91/135 experience
• Strong local area knowledge (New Orleans)
