Position Summary

The Flight Instructor (CFI Training) is responsible for training and mentoring CFI applicants, ensuring high instructional standards while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor CFI applicants
• Deliver ground and flight instruction
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain training records and student progress
• Promote a safety-first training environment
• Support ongoing training and standardization initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED
• Current FAA medical certificate
• Proficient in English (read, write, speak)
• FAA Commercial Pilot License or ATP
• Two (2) years of flight instructing experience
• Minimum 200 hours of dual given
• Safe driving and flying record

Preferred Qualifications

• CFI or CFII certification
