Position Summary

The Captain serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the aircraft. This role ensures compliance with FAA regulations while maintaining leadership of the flight crew and overall responsibility for passengers, cargo, and aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command with final authority for the safety and operation of the flight
• Conduct all flight operations in a safe, professional, and compliant manner
• Maintain vigilance during all phases of flight and ensure adherence to company and FAA standards
• Supervise SIC (if assigned) and ensure proper flight planning and preparation
• Perform or oversee preflight inspections ensuring aircraft airworthiness and cleanliness
• Plan and execute flights including weather review, NOTAMs, routing, fuel, and weight & balance
• Ensure proper loading, securing of cargo, and passenger safety
• Operate aircraft at safe altitudes considering weather, terrain, and passenger comfort
• Ensure accurate flight logs, maintenance reporting, and documentation
• Maintain compliance with FAR 135.265 and all applicable regulations
• Support operational duties including loading, unloading, and refueling when required
• Operate within an on-demand Part 135 schedule requiring flexibility and readiness

Requirements

• ATP Multi-Engine Land (or Commercial Multi-Engine with Instrument Rating)
• Current First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid passport
• 1,500 total flight hours
• 500 cross-country hours
• 250 PIC hours
• 100 night hours
• 75 instrument hours
• 50 multi-engine hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Part 135 operations
• Previous PIC experience in multi-engine aircraft
